Counselling is a safe place where you can feel heard, process trauma, understand yourself on a deeper level and figure out why you keep finding yourself in the same unhealthy negative patterns. It's a place where you can explore and resolve personal and emotional issues, learn about how to develop healthy relationships, and deal with any mental health concerns.
A typical session last 50 minutes. There is the option to book for a 75 minute session if you are wanting a longer processing time. Counselling can range from going 5-7 times consecutively, to going bi-weekly or monthly for years. There is no wrong or right amount of sessions or how long you go for.
Absolutely yes! There are few exceptions which we go over with you in the informed consent - this is to ensure the safety of you and others.

We believe that everyone will and can benefit from counselling. You don't have to struggle with a mental illness or be considered "crazy" just to receive help. If you are feeling lonely, sad, unheard, and are noticing your relationships are not what you would like them to be - counselling is the perfect fit for you.
Nope! Sometimes doctors will refer you to a counsellor, however, you are welcome to reach out and book an appointment on your own!
