Life is a journey that brings about many events and circumstances in our lives, some of which may be painful, confusing, and traumatizing. This can leave us feeling stuck, afraid, lonely, and disconnected from ourselves and others. Jess believes that through genuine connection and support, we can heal, grow, and become more fully ourselves.
Jess is passionate about walking alongside others who are in pain by creating a safe, trusting, and non-judgemental relationship in order to help them heal and grow. It is through these kinds of relationships that we can explore past and current events that are causing distress and pain.
About Jess: She has experience working with foster youth in group homes and women in residential programs. Jess also works from a trauma-informed, experiential, and relationally-centred approach. Her specialities includes working with youth (13+), young adults, and adults.
In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends, watching sitcoms, playing board games, going on adventures, and playing softball.
