Currently not accepting new clients until September 2023.
Lindsay specializes in working with individual adults (ages 18+) who have been impacted by trauma, and as a result, are experiencing challenges such as relational issues, low reaction time, anger, depression, anxiety, shame, loneliness, loss of identity, and poor boundaries.
She loves to laugh and bring humour into her sessions. She is authentic and laughs at herself when she uses the wrong word or give a ridiculous analogy to explain a concept. At the end of the day, we are all human, and her desire is to connect with you and just be human together.
Lindsay uses an integrative approach to counselling, tailoring her approach to each client, as she believes that each client, and their needs, are unique. She is trained in both Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Observed and Experiential Integration (OEI), and Lifespan Integration (LI) which are evidenced-based trauma therapies that not only reduce your symptoms, but completely alleviate them. She offers support to those seeking personal growth, healing, and gaining a greater understanding of self.
Lindsay is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#18381) and Certified Canadian Counsellor (#10006442). Throughout the course of her professional development, she completed a BA in Psychology, received her Human Services Certificate, as well as her Masters of Counselling Psychology degree at Trinity Western University. Additionally, she have had the privilege of working with women in residential addictions recovery, and those escaping domestic violence and abuse, as well as experience working with a local crisis line.
Who is Lindsay outside the therapy room? What you see is what you get! Lindsay promises to always be herself as she loves to bring humour into her sessions. Some of her favourite things to do include laughing, being outdoors, hiking, travelling, and meeting new people. Fun fact: She once rode an ostrich!

Through Rachel's training and work to
become a clinical counselor, she has fostered a deep passion for helping individuals, couples, and families process and recover from an array of challenges from daily life stressors to extensive trauma. Rachel’s core belief regarding therapy is that each individual is the expert of their own lives and that it is the counselor’s role to provide a safe and open space to enable each person in uncovering and actualizing their strengths, wisdom, and resiliency through the tools and knowledge she has gained in working as a psychotherapist.
Rachel’s experience includes providing therapy to adult individuals, families, couples, children, and youth. Rachel’s areas of focus include addictions recovery, complex trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, OCD,
relationship/marital conflict, and sexual abuse. As a counselor, Rachel incorporates specific therapeutic modalities/approaches to counseling that enable her to help each person achieve their goals towards living a healthy and fulfilling life. These approaches
include Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Based Therapy (ACT). Through these modalities, Rachel incorporates art, mindfulness, attachment focused
processing, and exploration of patterns of thinking and feeling as tools in the counseling process.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, taking her dog on
adventures, playing volleyball, camping, and spending time outdoors (rain or shine!).
