Courtney specializes in working with older youth (16+), young adults, and individual adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relational challenges, self-worth, grief, loneliness/disconnection, and life transitions.
Courtney’s hope is that therapy may be a space for you to safely explore the parts of yourself and aspects of life that are leaving you feeling stuck. In an attempt to avoid pain, we often hide and try to manage our feelings in isolation. Courtney believes that healing comes from cultivating a deeper sense of connection to yourself and others.
Courtney provides a warm and supportive space to unpack the load you are carrying and find a healing way forward.
Courtney uses an integrative approach, celebrating each client’s unique strengths and resources within. She also works from a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens, seeking to help clients explore how their past experiences may impact their current challenges.
Courtney has abundant experience working with young adults in educational settings who are navigating self-worth, shame, relational challenges and personal growth.
In her spare time, Courtney loves boating with her partner, camping on mountain tops and reading in cozy coffee shops. She also loves crafting, decorating and anything creative!
Courtney is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#21498), a designation of the BC clinical counsellors association (BCACC) and has completed her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
